HEAR YE! - In 2015 we  released our first single. There is lots of Christmas music out there, but not so often a beautiful new song emerges. It's titled Christmas Brought the Stillness. Read about it and download it on CD Baby. Help make this a Christmas classic!

Tea Rose Consort

With recorder player Christine Love and guitarist Gary Love, we are now available as a quartet (violin, guitar, and high/low recorders). Tea Rose Consort is a sophisticated choice for teas, garden receptions, holiday events, intimate weddings, and church/chapel events. Our music is rare and resonant but not overpowering. Gentle amplification is available.

Tea Rose Consort specializes in music from the Renaissance and Baroque periods as well as English, Irish, and Scottish traditional music.  We also offer traditional wedding marches, which sound unique and beautiful played by our ensemble. We  can incorporate lively period dances as well as lyrical Renaissance music, including ballads from Elizabethan times.  Our Baroque repertory includes such composers as Bach, Handel, and Purcell.

Our repertory is specially selected and orchestrated for our ensemble. We occasionally arrange a special selection (such as Lavender's Blue, a traditional tune loved by all). Many hours go into creating such an arrangement; if you wish us to prepare something outside our repertory, an extra charge may apply to arrange the music if sheet music is not available.

Praise for Tea Rose Consort:

We had Tea Rose Consort play for at our facility for our Residents on St. Patrick’s Day. Our Residents were captivated by their beautiful music throughout the entire program. They were engaging with the audience and had real warmth to their delivery. Their mastery of their instruments and the style of music were most evident. They arrived on time and in authentic costume, which added to the ambience. They gave us more then our money’s worth and I would highly recommend them.
Jeff L., Escondido Post Acute Rehab

Tea Rose Consort did a great job for our dinner party! They showed up early to set up so as not to interfere with our dinner, they were on time, dressed amazing for our Irish theme and did a beautiful job of providing entertainment, they included our crowd in singing along by sending us words to a song so they could be printed and passed out to all. I would highly recommend them for your event. Cindy M., San Marcos

Fantastic! They were everything we had hoped for and more . Wonderful people and exceptional musicians our guests were truly impressed. We hope that we can have them play for us every year thank you Patrick and Wendy (dinner party, Carlsbad, CA)

...Tea Rose Consort played for us at a charity event we had sometime in October (2015) They were wonderful! Their music was beautiful and their costumes really fit the décor of the tea room. We loved their performance and will definitely have them back again for another event. We highly recommend them. Louisa M., The Grand Tea Room
